Jin Daily Tech Trivia – Google Glass, but make it 2026
Google is back with another shot at smart glasses this fall.
But this time, there is no awkward sci-fi display trying too hard.
These AI glasses run on Android XR, come with a camera, speakers, and mics, and will be co-branded with Samsung, Gentle Monster, and Warby Parker. The funny part? It will also support iPhone at launch (no need VPN bro, take that Meta Rayban)
Gemini will be deeply built into the glasses. You can say “Hey Google” or tap the frame to ask it what you are looking at, read parking signs, check nearby restaurant reviews, do turn-by-turn navigation, summarize messages, take photos, record videos, translate speech, or even control apps on your connected phone.
Google is also planning a version with a small in-lens display later, but this first version have no display ability.
Well, atleast it look less cyborg and scary that google last one :P
